Kendra Sunderland Named Vixen Angel of the Year
Vixen.com has announced Kendra Sunderland is the company’s inaugural 2016 Vixen Angel of the Year.
Vixen.com filmmaker and Chief Creative Officer Greg Lansky announced Sunderland's win during a live Instagram video amidst fans and other Angel of the Month nominees as they crowded the company's 40-foot luxury booth.
"As our very first Vixen Angel of the Year, Kendra sets a high bar for her outstanding work, talent and charisma, both on and off screen," said Lansky, who selected the blonde starlet earlier in 2016 as the company's very first Angel of the Month.
"Kendra is a new breed of celebrity — fearless and groundbreaking — in so many ways that are shaping the future of the adult industry," he remarked.
Vixen's 'Director of Vibes,' social media influencer Carter Cruise, broadcast Sunderland's coronation and live party exclusively from the booth's VIP space via the company's official social media, giving fans at home an intimate and up-close view of the celebration.
“It is such an honor to receive this award and I want to thank Greg and everyone I worked with at Vixen,” Sunderland said. “My experiences working with Greg continue to inspire me, and I look forward to more performances for my fans.”
As the reigning Angel of the Year, Sunderland will receive an exclusive company contract, which includes a big-budget star showcase feature, official Vixen Angel of the Year photo shoot with Lansky, signature Vixen diamond necklace (2.9 carat total weight, valued at $20,000) and a contract with leading men's pleasure product brand Fleshlight.
Sunderland, who was nominated for the 2017 XBIZ Awards in the Best Sex Scene — All-Sex Release category for her work with Mick Blue in "Natural Beauties" (Vixen.com/Jules Jordan Video) will also represent the company at promotional appearances and events around the world.
The 21-year old Oregon native shot to fame in 2015 as an OSU coed who performed a very public adult webcam show in the University's library — earning her instant media notoriety, viral mainstream recognition and scores of new fans worldwide as the "Library Girl."
"The past couple of years have been a roller coaster ride but my experiences have brought me here to Vixen and I couldn't be happier with my career choice," Sunderland said. "Having the support of Greg and the Vixen team means everything to me."
