World Wide Web - Brittany Wilson, Sales and Marketing Director for The Dungeon Store was recently on The Weekly Hot Spot Podcast to discuss kinky products, books, and Wilson dedicated a half hour to talk about violet wands and electro play.

Hosted by Mistress Olivia and Ms Erika, The Weekly Hot Spot is a BDSM advice podcast. Their show offers candid conversations about sex, fetish, BDSM, kink, phone sex and even vanilla erotic pleasure.

The Dungeon Store is a woman owned, second generation business, with a curated collection of pleasure products. Many of the floggers, paddles and electric gear carried by The Dungeon Store are handcrafted by professionals in the BDSM community.

"We're a good ol' fashioned, small, family business!" began Wilson. "We are very mindful and very thoughtful about what products make sense."

Wilson discussed products like the Flameless Wax Play Kits and Deer Tanned Leather Floggers.

"You take a cow hide, and you tan it as if it were a deer hide," explained Wilson. "It's elevating a cow hide to the best possible end life. I think it's a great flogger for beginners and intermediates. It's well weighted, so the handle and falls are about the same weight. It maneuvers very well. The falls stay together when throwing… It is a reliable classic. And it comes in every color. We're big fans of colored leather here. The days of all black everything have come to a close."

In the second episode, Wilson goes into greater detail about electrical play and the violet wand accessories available from The Dungeon Store.

"All beginners should get a good, solid state violet wand," said Wilson. "On the site, it would be our Explorer Kit… A violet wand in its most general usage is a sensation toy. It is great for the ticklers, the gentle touch, the caressers, it's really that genre of implement for the average person."

"Electro is less of its own fetish and more about bringing electricity into all of your pre-existing fetishes. If extreme pain is your fetish, great. That's doable. If needles and medical is your fetish, excellent. They conduct electricity. If rope is your fetish, I've got fantastic news. Guess what, there's conductive rope. If flogging is your fetish, you're in luck. There are conductive floggers. So once you get into electro, it's just a layer you get to put on top of all of your pre-existing fetishes."

Brittany Wilson will be teaching a class on violet wand techniques at the Knotty Spot in Virginia on Friday night, August 9. Visit https://www.kinbaku-studio.com/knottyspot to reserve a spot and find details.
