Written by Bree Mills and starring Cassidy Klein, Jelena Jensen, Abigail Mac, Penny Pax, Shyla Jennings, April O’Neil, and Kendra Lust, Little Red is, according to Girlsway, “the first ever re-imagined lesbian fairy tale.” Little Red is the classic fairy tale, turned on its ear by Mills in this erotic interpretation. Klein plays Red, a girl abandoned by her mother who is out to find her step-grandmother, played by Lust. Along Red’s lesbian sex-laden way, she meets Abigail Mac as The Wolf, a lupine-inspired lecher, and plenty of other good and bad girls whose intentions are not always transparent.
“I have always enjoyed watching artistic interpretations of classic stories, both in theatre and film,” says Mills. “For me, it adds an extra challenge to the creative process because you not only bring a classic to life, but you get to deconstruct its elements and rebuild it to make something original. I was interested in fairy tales because they are so often laced with sexuality and translate very well to adult. Little Red Riding Hood, with all its abductions and seductions, stood out as a fun one to tackle.” On being a pioneer in making an all-girl adult fairy tale, Mills continues, “I'm not sure why no one has tried to make a lesbian fairy tale before... But I'm happy we are the first! We love to be original!”
Little Red: A Lesbian Fairy Tale is available on HotMovies.com starting on September 5, and will run exclusively through September 19, 2016.
